Applications are now open for the University of Hong Kong Summer Program 2025. It is a Fully Funded 10-week Summer Internship for students from all around the world.
The Objective of the HKU Summer Research Program is to invite Bachelor, and Master students to work on a Research Project under the Supervision of the HKU Faculties.

2025 University of Hong Kong Internship Requirements
- The Hong University Summer Program is open to all the Nationals.
- Open to undergraduate students in their third and fourth years.
- 2nd Year Undergraduate students can also apply.
- Master’s degree candidates with a Bachelor’s degree.
Visa for Non-Residents
- All international students who are not permanent residents of Hong Kong are required to obtain a student visa from the Hong Kong Immigration Department.

Timelines for the 2025 University of Hong Kong Internship
- February – Mid-March 2025: Selection process for applicants.
- Mid-March 2025: Announcement of results – successful applicants will be notified.
- Mid-March – Mid-April 2025: The visa application period for non-local students (8-10 weeks processing time).
- June 2 – August 8, 2025: Summer Research Programme at HKU.
